“We are very lucky to have someone of with Will's background, experience and expertise on both the Flump.net support and development team” said Andy Fletcher, Technical Director.

“With Will on now at Flump.net we will be able to make more projects become a reality.” said Fletcher. "Being based in Canada will be a valuable asset due to time zone differences leading onto us providing quicker responce times during the early hours of the morning" Fletcher went on to say.

For the last four years before joining Flump.net, Will Fisher served as a systems administrator and head programmer for another online outfit. During this time, Will gained valuable customer service and technical support skills as he dealt with clients on an individual basis.

In addition Will is been currently developing the RedBird Community Builder engine, which a number of Asheron's Call community sites are running on right now as part of a closed beta program.

Ahhh...I see a programmer....first question, you a Perl or PHP expert? :D

Anyway, welcome to the land of Flump from one of its getting settled members. Second question, are you being let loose on the helpdesk?

Will to a novice and not too young. How easy is it to learn pearl. I know just enough HTML to get by.

Hi Will,

Welcome aboard.

I leave the Perl/PHP stuff to Trev as I'm usually too busy pondering over my own 'thoughts for the day' to have time for all that stuff...

Seriously, though, we have a few interesting projects in the pipeline... if anyone is after a free postcard facility on their website, then watch this space... :)
