the orange font in the header table really clashes badly with the blue background

On phpBB if you go on to the admin panel>Styles>Management then edit the SubSilver theme and you will be able to edit the hex colours that the style sheet uses.

yep that right orange does clash why not use like a darker colour or summin an yes jaylem is right on how to change it :lol:

It's what colour to change it to thats causing the problem :)

Ok..
I've edited theme_info.cfg and the subsilver.css file and changed the refs. of that god awful orange to the blue at the top. However, I think I have missed a file?
As its not changed. Any ideas?

hmmm, it should have done.
Instead of editing the files try changing it via the admin control panel.

It's correct in the control panel too.

to be honest that should have changed it because as soon as you alter anything on the style via the control panel it changes the values in the subSilver.css file.
I think this may be one to post on the phpBB web site.

Abit better isnt it!
The theme is actually stored in the mySQL database too, so had to change it there too.
Weird, makes you wonder why they bother having the static files too.

that is really wierd because once you changed it via the control panel it should have done all that, anyway the colour looks much better now m8.
